Equipment investment is more than deferred payment. It requires a complete structure linking deployable assets, network commissioning, revenue generation, asset control and repayment.
Scope of Equipment Investment
Depending on the project, the investment scope may include RAN, core networks, IMS, OSS/BSS, transmission, power systems, CPE, devices and software licenses, integrated with network planning, site deployment and long-term upgrades.
- 4G/5G base stations, antennas and radio access systems
- EPC/5GC, IMS, OSS/BSS and software licenses
- Transmission, power, site systems and spare parts
- CPE, smart devices and subscriber-growth products
Finance Leasing & Phased Deployment
For operators expanding in stages, leasing and installment schedules may be tied to site commissioning, equipment acceptance or revenue growth. Ownership, usage rights, insurance, maintenance, upgrades and default remedies must be clearly defined in the final agreements.
- Match equipment batches to construction and payment schedules
- Use acceptance, commissioning and operating KPIs as milestones
- Preserve mechanisms for expansion, upgrades and replacement
- Maintain continuity of critical software licenses and support
Risk Control & Asset Management
GTIIP evaluates whether the equipment can be deployed on time, remain operational and generate cash flow. The project must define responsibility for importation, customs, transport, installation, sites, power, transmission and local works, supported by equipment registers, serial numbers, acceptance records and asset ledgers.
